Funday Sundays

Once a month, we enjoy a Funday Sunday! Enjoy this group community based program with the assistance of a 1:1 support worker. 

Activities include:

  • Werribee Open Range Zoo
  • Bounce Essendon Fields
  • Healesville Sanctuary
  • the Whittlesea Show
  • and many more!

You can register for as many Funday Sundays as you like.

Saturday Youngsters

Saturday Youngsters is for children 5 to 14 years old. They’ll enjoy excursions and activities out in the community as part of a small group, including:

  • ten-pin bowling
  • Bounce
  • a visit to the city
  • a visit to a farm
  • swimming 
  • and more!

You can register for as many activities as you like.

The program runs on the first Saturday of the month.

Saturday Social Groups

This 1:1 support community access-based program is available for mixed ages and abilities and explores exhibitions, Victorian towns and themed weeks based off things that pop up in Melbourne. Aiming to develop social skills through friendship and fun.

Activities are planned two weeks in advance, but you also have the option to participate in your own activity with your support worker if you choose.

Service goals

  • Connect with the local community.
  • Develop the knowledge and skills to travel independently on public transport.
  • Valuing and respecting our peers and accepting others’ opinions.
  • Develop friendships.
  • Learn and develop communication skills.
  • Access a wide range of community activities.
  • Develop skills such as turn taking, waiting, and teamwork.
  • Money handling and independently looking after own belongings.
  • Wellbeing and health focused.
  • Participate in group recreational activities that may be unfamiliar.
  • Develop and maintain relationships and socialise with peers and community members.
  • Engage in volunteer work or education.
  • Have the opportunity, and be supported, to attend allied health supports and services.
