Looking for regular fun and exciting activities you can do in a group setting but also with the 1:1 support of a disability support worker? Then look no further than our Adventure Dayz!

Running every Tuesday and Friday, this 1:1 community access-based program encourages fun experiences in a social group.

You can register for as many Dayz as you like.

Adventure Nightz

Introducing in 2024 is our new Adventure Nightz social group program.

You don’t need to restrict all of the fun to daytime activities when Melbourne has such a vibrant, exciting and adventurous night life. 

Running multiple evenings throughout the month, this 1:1 support community access-based program encourages fun experiences in a social group.

You can register for as many nights as you like.

WRAP Social Support Groups

Whittlesea Recreation Access Program (WRAP) social support groups provide individuals with opportunities to access the community and embrace a sense of belonging and social connection, with both new and old friends. This fun and interactive program empowers the participants to establish a group’s roster and activities, developing independent choices and creativity.

Service goals

  • Connect with the local community.
  • Develop the knowledge and skills to travel independently on public transport.
  • Valuing and respecting our peers and accepting others’ opinions.
  • Develop friendships.
  • Learn and develop communication skills.
  • Access a wide range of community activities.
  • Develop skills such as turn taking, waiting, and teamwork.
  • Money handling and independently looking after own belongings.
  • Wellbeing and health focused.
  • Participate in group recreational activities that may be unfamiliar.
  • Develop and maintain relationships and socialise with peers and community members.
  • Engage in volunteer work or education.
  • Have the opportunity, and be supported, to attend allied health supports and services.
