Small group, adventure or unique experiences: choose your camp style
Join Y Camp Journeys for the adventure of a lifetime!
We are passionate about giving everyone the opportunity to travel and experience active recreation, new experiences and the great outdoors. At the Y we specialise in NDIS camps that are person-centred, supported camping experiences that maximise fun and social connection.
We hold camps across Victoria, including 7 YMCA Campsites, with all planned activities that are accessible and inclusive, allowing everyone to participate in their own way and sharing the experience with others.
Our fun, exciting and unique camps provide participants with a sense of adventure and achievement. They promote independent living skills, social connection and connection with the wider community.
Each of our campsites offers different activities, so no two adventures are the same. Campers enjoy cooking programs, high-ropes courses, archery, summertime water-based activities, environmental programs, art and craft, and much more.
Our experienced disability support team and campsite activity instructors lead activities to ensure everyone gets the most out of their experience. Our safe and inclusive environment encourages participants to gain new skills and unleash their spirit of adventure!
We are fun. We are different. We are social!
Inclusion Services is a registered NDIS provider under the Y Whittlesea Inc. NDIS funding therefore may be available to fund supports provided on a camping experience with us.

What our camps look like
What our campers are saying
It was a wonderful experience that [Louise] thoroughly enjoyed. Louise is talking about future escapes now! Special mention to Lucy from the YMCA who was the perfect hostess. Louise was so well cared for but equally important validated at every level. Many thanks for what you all do
I think has been one of Angelo’s most memorable trips. A big thank you to the team from YMCA that made this possible. Your itinerary was first class
Out of 10 I give it a 10 because of the activities that we did and in general the atmospheric balance was good. I cannot put into words how much I enjoyed it, “it was like mini explosions or happiness fireworks going off in my brain
Thank you so much! Tyler had such a grouse time still talks about it. Thank you for making his trip so enjoyable, all you guys are so down to earth and are beautiful people
Just wanted to share my sheer joy at receiving my girl back in the happiest mood ever! She has made some lovely new friends, is talking about needing to be more independent and desperate to get a job….wow, this is huge!
The whole experience left Brinley with some great memories that I am sure will stay with him for many years. Please pass on my thanks to everyone involved and congratulate them on a very successful [program].
Mike has not stopped talking about camp. We can see he is more confident, and we are so grateful he has had this opportunity.
Meghan had a great time and was especially proud of her achievements on the paddle board. I know what she’ll be doing over the summer break.
We just wanted to say thank you to you and to all the staff of the camps. Katrina has just loved being able to return to camping and meeting new people and old friends as well. She has enjoyed each of the three camps, and has come home saying what the best things were.
Yspace / camps have just been so rewarding for Robert being able to socialise and be safe with such a fantastic group of support workers and participants.
Y camp program changed my life. I learnt so much over this weekend. The participants & staff were so welcoming & understanding, I actually feel sad it’s over & have to get back to work!
I wanted to say thank you to both for all your assistance this year in organising Kobe’s attendance at the Y Inclusion camps this year. He has had a great time on all the camps and made new friends and learnt new skills through the activities.
Kobe talked about having breakfast with Toni one morning on the Billabong camp, and he told me his favourite things he did on the last camp, and I was surprised when he said archery originally as number 1!!!
He talked about the food and enjoyed it all (no surprise there).
All the staff have been great that I have liaised with from the office staff to the staff on the camps.
WOW you did it! – got Thomas on a plane after years of being terrified of flying so well done and thanks for a wonderful time – he loved the time away.
A big THANK YOU from both Kendell and myself for giving Kendell a wonderful Camp which he thoroughly enjoyed.
Please convey my heartfelt thanks, appreciation and gratitude to Jake for taking such good care of my Boy. I would also like to thank Marcel and the wonderful Camp Leaders for spending lots of time with Kendell and looking after him so well.
