Supporting Beveridge for over 25 years

The Y has been supporting participants and families across the Mitchell Shire area for more than 25 years. Our local support workers know the region well, from community hubs and health services to parks, recreation centres, and neighbourhoods throughout the Hume region. We work with participants of all ages and support needs, helping people live the life they choose.

WRAP Basketball

WRAP (Whittlesea Recreation Access Program) Basketball is an all-abilities basketball program. Participants enjoy a fun, energetic basketball competition aimed at supporting physical health, improving core strength, and developing team-building and leadership skills whilst staying active. This great team-based program provides weekly games to put your basketball skills to good use!

Our Respite Camps

Our Disability Respite Camps are all-abilities overnight adventures held across Victoria, giving participants a real sense of independence, achievement and connection.

With different campsites each time, no two experiences are the same. Activities include flying fox, high ropes, archery, water sports, art, cooking and more, all led by our experienced disability support team and camp instructors. We run three styles to suit every age and interest.
