Home and Community Supports

Our Home and Community Supports program aims to enhance the independence and quality of life for individuals with disabilities. As part of our team, you will work closely with individuals and their families, providing personalized assistance and helping them access community resources, develop life skills, and foster meaningful connections.

Our inclusive camps are a source of joy, adventure, and personal growth for individuals with disabilities. As a camp staff member, you will be a vital part of creating a safe and supportive environment where campers can explore new activities, build friendships, and develop self-confidence. You will play a key role in facilitating inclusive experiences that leave lasting memories for campers and their families.

Support Coordination

Support coordination is all about empowering individuals to navigate the complex disability support system and access the services they need. By joining our support coordination team, you will act as a guide and advocate, working closely with individuals to develop tailored support plans, connect them with appropriate services, and ensure their goals and aspirations are met.

Our Roles

We are always looking for enthusiastic and passionate people to work in our Inclusion and Community Services.

  • Youth Leader

    Play a vital role in ensuring the Y implements its Commitment to Young People. Work with and alongside young people on a variety of programs.

  • Inclusion Team Leader

    Oversee and support the daily operation of a program. Ensure the safety and satisfaction of participants and staff.

  • Inclusion Coordinator

    Play a vital leadership role in supporting people with disabilities to access Y programs. Coordinate programs delivered at Y locations and in the community, and lead a team of disability support workers.

  • Inclusion Director

    Play a vital senior leadership role, overseeing program areas accessed by people with disabilities. Take responsibility for understanding and implementing NDIS knowledge for program areas, implementing behaviour support and incident management.

  • Support Coordinator

    Manage those referred to the Y with an NDIS Plan under Coordination of Support. Be responsible for the implementation and review of participants of NDIS Plans.

  • Inclusion Camp Support Worker

    Support camp participants to engage in fun activities that provide social connection. Help all participants to experience exciting activities, develop new skills, interact socially and meet personal goals. Camps typically run for 1 to 4 days.
