COVID Update

We have now had four confirmed cases and are in the process of notifying staff and clients who have been in close contact. These people will need to be tested and isolate for a two week period beginning from the last exposure time.

We have yet to be informed by DHHS that this is an exposure site but the safety of our clients and staff is our number one priority, so we wanted to keep you informed.

A positive case attended the following programs:

  • Wednesday 15th 4:30pm- 8:00pm – YSpace
  • Monday 20th 8:30am- 5:00pm – WhiSKHA Teen (Basketball Court area)
  • Tuesday 21st 8:30am- 5:00pm – YSpace – WhiSKHA Teen (Basketball Court area)
  • Tuesday 21st 8:30am- 8:00pm – YSpace
  • Wednesday 22nd 8:30am- 5:00pm – YSpace

If you haven’t been contacted and have been present during the above times, please contact me ASAP and follow Tier 1 exposure site process

If you or anyone in your family develop even the mildest of symptoms, please get tested. If you need to get tested please check for up-to-date information about waiting times at testing sites across the state.

For information in languages other than English, call TIS NATIONAL on 131 450. Please ask for them to call the DET COVID-19 hotline on 1800 338 663 and they will be able to interpret.

As a result, our site has undergone a professional deep clean and is safe for clients and staff to attend.

Holiday Program Update
In the best interested of our staff, our clients and our community we have decided to cancel the remaining holiday program to ensure everyone is able to remain home and reduce any protentional transmission. 
We are in the process of contacting all families of this and this email assist with informing of cancelled program for the remainder of the holiday program.
