NDIS Respite Accommodation

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding for ‘Short-Term Accommodation and Assistance’ under the Core Support category, specifically ‘Assistance with Daily Living’ (Category 1).

NDIS funding allows for up to 28 days of Short-Term Accommodation (STA) per year, which can be used in flexible periods throughout the year, such as weekends or for one or two weeks at a time. You can also use your funding for emergency respite care.

The amount of STA funding you receive depends on the level of support you require. If you’re unsure about your eligibility or the funding available, our friendly team is here to assist.
